Is Omar Khadr a victim or a terrorist?

Many think he is a terrorist, but Scott Taylor – a former Canadian Armed Forces Commando, former Ansar-al-Islam hostage and the founder of Esprit de Corps Magazine – says he is a victim.

It is a complex question, once you factor in Mr. Khadr's life, the treatment (and neglect, as some would argue) of his human rights, and the process to return him to Canada.

We sat down with Scott Taylor for a conversation about the reasons why Mr. Khadr should be seen as a victim and how we need to examine Canada's treatment of human rights.
